We worked on a contract for the new build £100m state-of-the-art mental health facility for St Andrews Healthcare in Northampton.

Our services included the provision of many thousands of metres of wall chasing for the electrical conduits. Additionally, we also undertook diamond drilling for a large number of service holes. The building required work to both the sensory therapy and normal electrical systems, which involved advanced wire chasing techniques to minimise noise and ensure reliable work in such sensitive areas.

Besides the treatment rooms, corridors, communal areas and receptions, each of the 110 bedrooms required diamond drilling to create service holes. This required the daily attendance of two or more teams for approximately 18 months.

Our Northampton-based client was very pleased with the services and the minimal impact to areas surrounding the work. The team did a great job working on the diamond drilling/wall chasing contract within a sensitive environment.
