Diamond drilling, demolition and cutting services for Leicester Royal Infirmary, Leicestershire

We were tasked with a contract involving:

  • Removing concrete walls through hydraulic bursting
  • Forming floor trenches for new drainage runs using the stitch drilling method
  • Diamond core drilling for service holes and openings within the old and new A&E departments
  • This was all completed whilst Leicester Royal Infirmary A&E continued to be operational.

This was a very challenging contract due to the necessity to reduce noise and vibration down to an acceptable level, ensuring core A&E functions remained undisturbed.

We have also successfully created new doorways and removed walls (using concrete cutting techniques) during other contract phases at the Leicester Royal Infirmary hospital.

For example, one door opening was successfully formed immediately below the eye operating theatre. Our equipment uses micro precision technology to ensure zero vibration for sensitive environments such as this.

If you require diamond drilling services in a sensitive environment, get in touch and we will be sure to help.
