Working within the vicinity of live tin-can production lines and company employees, Diamond Technique were contracted to carry out:
- The removal of large machine plinths
- Forming floor openings for new machine foundations
- Drainage runs
- Drilling new machine retaining bolt holes
This cutting and demolition work required the use of various cutting methods such as deep 3-phase floor sawing, wire sawing and stitch drilling. this was followed by remote controlled Brokk demolition machines broke up the plinths and bases.
Other areas of floor within the factory required new levels, which were achieved by using floor grinders with dust suppression systems.
Precision core drilling was required to form the new machine anchor points.
