Find out more about our hydraulic concrete bursting services and specs:
Hydraulic bursting/concrete bursting is one of the safest and easiest ways of removing mass and reinforced concrete walls or floors.
By combining hydraulic bursting to remove concrete mass and forming diamond drilled holes, manageable sections are created to ease removal. The burster is then placed into the hole and uses forces of up to 413 tons to crack and separate material being removed. Due to the immense forces generated by this hydraulic powered machinery, it greatly reduces the need for conventional concrete bursting methods.
Diamond Technique have successfully drilled and performed concrete bursting on reinforced bases over 1500mm deep sited within 25m of hospital operating theatres. Additionally, other hydraulic bursting contracts have also been completed on sensitive sites using these techniques.
Hydraulic bursting is an excellent option for many projects where large masses of concrete must be removed. Some benefits of the process include:
We operate powerful Electric Floor Saws for internal cutting works. This method of floor sawing is ideally suited for protected environments including hospitals, food or chemical production facilities or heavily populated areas such as shopping centres and offices.
We can achieve depths of 500mm through heavily reinforced concrete floor slabs and ground beams. Although these machines can run diamond blades up to 1500mm diameter, they are designed to fit through standard personnel doors and as a result, minimises access problems. Due to these machines being powered by 415 volt electricity they are operator and environmentally friendly.
We have completed diamond drilling contracts for small and large customers across the UK
