Hydraulic Bursting is one of the safest and easiest ways of removing mass and reinforced concrete walls or floors.
By combining hydraulic bursting to remove mass and forming diamond drilled holes, manageable sections are created to ease removal. The burster is then placed into the hole and uses forces of up to 413 tons to crack and separate material being removed. Due to the immense forces generated by this hydraulic powered machinery, it greatly reduces the need for conventional concrete breaking methods.
Diamond Technique have successfully drilled and burst reinforced concrete bases over 1500mm deep sited within 25m of hospital operating theatres. Additionally, other work has also been completed on sensitive sites using these techniques.
